The Mental Health Directorate Clinical Governance Group guides, directs and monitors the progress and activities of C&CDHB mental health and addiction services. The Group promotes the C&CDHB vision of better health and independence for people families and communities. The focus of the Group is to improve quality and to increase safety in mental health and addiction services. To this end the Group is oriented toward driving the development of service improvement and monitoring clinical system performance with proactive attention to indicators of system stress.
