Malcolm Robson

Mal Robson - Kaiwhakahaere - Operations Manager Transcultural Mental Health Services.

Mal was appointed as Acting Kaiwhakahaere November 2005 and formally appointed to the role in September 2006. He is currently completing Masters in MÄori Laws and Philosophy (Te Waananga o Raukawa). Mal joined Te Whare MÄrie as the Cultural educator – Kaitakawaenga (Whakapai) in December 2003. He also led the MH-SMART initiative for Capital and Coast District Health Board MH Service from May 2004 until took acting Kaiwhakahaere position in 2005. Mal is passionate in advancing the needs of MÄori within the Mental Health Directorate and continues to develop service delivery for both MÄori and Tangata Pasifika peoples in the Capital and Coast District Health Board region.
