Yvonne Browning

Yvonne Browning is Professional Leader for Occupational Therapy, Mental Health. After graduating from the Central Institute of Technology 1992 she worked in various service delivery areas in New Zealand including with adults who had intellectual disabilities, and in orthopaedics and community rehabilitation. Yvonne moved to England in 1996 and initially worked for the NHS in medical and rehabilitation services. She then joined the NHS Mental Health Services for Older People (MHSOP) working in central city, urban and rural CMHTs. She was also Team Leader of an MHSOP occupational therapy team that worked across inpatient and community sites. Yvonne completed an MSc in Health Studies while in England.

In 2007 she returned to New Zealand and joined the MHD Psychogeriatric Service where she currently practices clinically. Yvonne is a member of the Council of the New Zealand Association of Occupational Therapists.
