Reg Orovwuje

Reg Orovwuje was educated at the London School of Economics and Political Science, and the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. He is a consultant social worker in Te Korowai Whariki (Forensic Mental Health Service), and Professional Leader in social work for the C&CDHB Mental Health Directorate.

Reg has extensive social work experience and has worked as an academic, clinician, team leader and systems innovator in general and forensic mental health in developed and developing countries. He has been a member of various working committees in health and tertiary education systems and has written and published widely in the specialist areas of mental health, refugee experience, indigenous groups, culture, mental health service users and the impact of the business model on human services.
